Temporary traffic circulation plan to manage refueling traffic in our neigbourhood.
We hope to welcome you soon!!
For several weeks now, the large volume of trucks stopping to refuel on the Belgian side of the transport zone has been creating hazardous and disruptive traffic situations—at times resulting in tailbacks extending all the way onto the highways. Consequently, an adjusted traffic circulation route has been implemented to separate vehicles waiting to refuel from traffic heading toward the warehouses to (un)load.
Specifically, all trucks traveling from Antwerp that take Exit 1A into Meer—bound for the transport zone—are now directed straight ahead via the Netherlands. Beyond the junction with Exit 14 of the A58 motorway, the parallel road "Rietvelden" has been designated as one-way traffic: the left lane is reserved for through traffic, while the right lane is designated for vehicles stopping to refuel.
We hope this situation resolves itself quickly so that the temporary circulation plan can be lifted, as our customers arriving from Belgium are currently required to take a detour via the Netherlands.
Nevertheless, we look forward to welcoming you soon at our restaurant and shop.
Warm regards from the entire team!
