Heavy vehicle blind spot (Sticker Angles Morts) warning decals
From January 1, 2021, all heavy vehicles (trucks for freight and passenger transport) must affix blind spot warning stickers (Sticker Angles Morts) on their vehicle so that it is visible on the sides and rear of the vehicle. The Sticker Angles Morts on the rear of the vehicle must be placed on the right side between 0.9 and 1.5 meters from the ground. On both sides, the Stickers Angles Morts must be placed in the front (also between 0.9 and 1.5 meters from the ground).
This obligation applies to heavy vehicles with a permissible total weight of more than 3.5 tonnes driving in an urban environment. The decree excludes from its scope on the one hand agricultural and forestry vehicles and on the other hand winter service vehicles and intervention vehicles of the services for the management of motorways or four-lane roads.
